Barry Kenneth Wilson attended Alabama State University and majored in English. Over the years; he nurtured his love for poetry and songwriting before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in pursuit of a songwriting career. After several years of researching his influences; the likes of Ray Charles, Berry Gordy and Dolly Parton, he learned the business of Publishing, Licensing, Distribution, Contracts (work for hire) and (360), Marketing, Artist and Repertoire (A/R) Trademarks, Copyrights, Performance Rights and a abundance of pertinent information relevant to successfully navigate through the music industry.
